You may have noticed it’s been a little quiet here at Live. Work. Play. recently. Now you get to play along! Select the reason why below:

A) Jon’s computer crashed while he was backing it up meaning (1) most of his files are gone because he was trying to keep that from happening and (2) he’s having to snag his wife’s computer when she’s not looking to do any writing or internet-type work.

B) He and Grete have been on a beautiful trip to Maine since July 4 for his cousin’s wedding and just got back into town yesterday. (If, by the way, someone can think of a longer trip than from Southern California to Maine where you’d still be in the continental United States, let me know!)

C) He learned on Friday he has the chance to preach this Sunday (July 15), and is busy preparing his talk for three services.

D) He has a one-week intensive starting next Monday that he’s trying to read ahead for so he’s not completely overwhelmed by class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you chose E) All of the above, you’re correct! A lot of great, exciting things are happening (aside from the computer crash), but it also means less time to think deep thoughts and record what’s happening in life.

Of course, every time I say I don’t have time to blog, I inevitably post something else the next day, so we’ll see what happens. More will come soon enough…
