If you’re into independent artists and up for a little digging, you should check out Amie Street. It’s basically “an independent music store where all songs start free and rise in price the more they are purchased.” So, the more people who purchase a song, the more it sells for.

I’d been wanting to buy Matt Wertz‘s new album. It’s a typical $9.90 on iTunes, but I got it there for $1.45. (You have to purchase credits in units of $3, $5, etc.)

(I knew a woman named Amie Street in college. Just thought I’d throw that in there…)
